Frederick, and report to him their number and condition,
and all information in relation thereto, but not to incur any
expense without the authority of the Governor.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Turner, of Baltimore county, submitted the following
order:

WHEREAS, The 27th section of the 3rd Article of the Con-
stitution provides, that no bill shall originate in either House
during the last ten days of the session, unless two-thirds of
the members elected thereto shall so determine by yeas and
nays; and

Whereas, Monday, the 6th of April next, is the last day
of this session of the General Assembly of Maryland ; there-
fore,

Be it ordered, That the House of Delegates will, at this
session of the General Assembly, consider no bill which may
originate in the House of Delegates, unless the bill itself
(and not the leave only,) shall have been introduced and filed
at the desk of the Clerk of this House, on or before the 27th
of March instant, unless two-thirds of the members elected
to this House shall so determine by yeas and nays.

Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Gill,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to pay Isaac D. Jones, Levin L.
Watters and William G Iglehart, for services rendered as
Commissioners to adjust the boundary line between Maryland
and Virginia.

On motion of Mr. Seth,

Leave was granted to the Select Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill to regulate the issuing of licenses for the
sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in this State.

On motion of Mr. Glotfelty,

Leave was granted to the Garrett delegation and Mr. Col-
ton, to introduce a bill for the better protection of birds in
Garrett county.

On motion of Mr. Hodson,

Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to intro-
duce a bill to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester county to aid in the construction and
completion of the Vienna Railroad.
