Office since the adjournment of the last Legislature.

On motion by Mr. Tuck,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to be entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Chesapeake Immigration Land and Improvement Company
of the State of Maryland."

Also,

Leave to the Committee on Corporation to introduce a bill
to amend the Charter of the Baltimore and Drum Point Rail
Road Company.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 78 of
Article XV. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title Montgomery county, sub-title Rockville, and to re-enact
the same with amendments,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "'An Act to authorize the Gover-
nor to appoint a Notary Public in Garrett county,"

Was read the second, time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend the 6th section of the
Act of 1858, chapter 410, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Mineral Hill Mining Company of Maryland, by dispensing
with the making and publication of the annual statement
