sub-title "Streets," and to re-enact the same to read as fol-
lows ; and chapter 322, of the Acts of 1870, entitled an Act lo
add additional sections to the 4th Article of Public Local
Laws, relating to the City of Baltimore, sub-title "Streets,"
and to re-enact other sections in lieu thereof.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Baltimore-
City delegation.

The Secretary of the Senate also returned the following
bills,

Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

The bill entitled an Act entitled an additional supplement
to an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore,
Catonsville and Ellicott's Mills Passenger Railway Company,
passed at January session, 1860, chapter 34.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, of the Act of
1870, chapter 472, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1866,
chapter 146, entitled an Act to repeal the charter of Denton,
in Caroline county, and re-enact the same with amendments
thereto.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to ap-
point an additional Justice of the Peace for the 9th election
district, and also an additional Justice of the Peace for the
15th election district, in Frederick county.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of John T. E. Hyde, William Murdoch, John
Himelhaver, J. W. Kalmey, Samuel Stewart and Taylor
& Bernard.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Oakland Cem-
etery Company.

Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Committee
on Corporations, and report adopted."

On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Howard,

At 3 o'clock, P. M., the House took a recess until this
