So three-fifths of all the members elected to the House
not having voted in the affirmative,

The veto of the Governor was sustained.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills,

Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

A Senate bill entitled an Act for the protection of young
fish in the waters of Elk River and its tributaries, within the
limits of Cecil county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Cecil
county delegation.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed
March 2d, 1874, entitled an Act to provide for the delence of
Officers of Eegistration and Judges of Election, who are or
may be indicted in the United States Court, for acts done in
performance of duties imposed by the Constitution and Laws
of this State, which are alleged to be in violation of the Act
of Congress, approved May 31st, 1870, entitled an Act to en-
force the rights of citizens of the United States to vote in the
several States of this Union, and for other purposes,

Which was read a first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on the Judiciary.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 46, as amended by
chapter 255, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at the January session, 1872; sections 47, 49
and 50, as amended by chapter 384, of the Acts of the Gene-
ral Assembly, passed at January session, 1872; sections 60,
61 and 74, of Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Revenue and Taxes," in so far as the same may
relate to Carroll county, and to enact additional sections to
Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Carroll
County," subtitle "State and County Taxes."

Which was read a first time and referred to the Carroll
delegation.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 51 and 52, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Prince George's Coun-
ty," under head of "Collectors," enacted at January session,
1868, chapter 330, and sections 47 and 48 of said Article 16,
enacted at January session, 1872, chapter 294, and re-enact
the following as seetions 47, 48, 51 and 52, of said Article 16
