favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of five
thousand dollars, or so ranch thereof as may be necessary,
for the purchasing of a suitable lot and the erection thereon
of scales adapted to the weighing of hay, straw and live
stock.

Mr. Johnson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 81, of the Acts
passed at January session, 1872, relating to catching oysters
with scoops in the waters of Dorchester county, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.
