Which was read a first time.

Mr. Merrryman, Chairman of the Committee on Agricul-
ture, to whom was referred

Tie bill entitled an Act to prohibit trespassing with gun
or dog upon private land in Dorchester county, and pre-
scribing penalties therefor,

Reported the same without amendments.

Mr. Freaner, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
to whom was referred

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, of Article 60,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Marriages,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Reported unfavorably thereon.

The question then recurring upon the adoption of the
report,

On motion of Mr. Hawkins,

The bill was substituted for the unfavorable report.
Said bill was then read a first time.

Mr. Greenfield, Chairman of the Committee on Internal
Improvements, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Cumberland and
Ohio Canal Company.

ticle 56, of the Code of General Laws, relating to licenses.

Mr. Nutwell, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Ridge Passenger Railway
Company, passed March 22nd, 1867, chapter 331.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Henkle, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
