Said bill being upon a third reading.

Pending which,

Mr. McCosker submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Line 6, after the word "empower," insert " if they deem
necessary."

The proposed amendment was adopted.

Mr. McCosker moved that the further consideration there-
of be indefinitely postponed.

The question then recurring upon concurring in the motion,

Mr. McCosker demanded the yeas and nays.
