be engrossed for a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Brattan, it was

Ordered, That all bills incorporating Companies or Insti-
tutions, or bills adding amendments thereto, be printed, but
this not to apply to bills incorporating towns or cities.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Billingsley until Mon-
day, 13th inst.

On motion by Mr. Mudd, it was

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that the Sen-
ator from Prince George's, is detained from his seat by indis-
position.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Labor and Agri-
culture, to report a bill for the establishment of a system of
Immigration in this State.

On motion by Mr. Brattan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to report a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the con-
firmation of sales made by Sheriffs under executions, and for
the distribution of the proceeds of sale, and to add section 14
to Article LXXXIII, title 'Sales and Notices/ of the Code
of Public General Laws.''

Also,

To Committee on Judicial Proceedings,

Leave to report a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section
15 of the Code of Public'General Laws, entitled 'Juries,' and
relating to challenges, passed at the January Session, 1872,
chapter 40, and to re-enact the same with amendments."
