peake Rail Road Company.

No. 96. An Act to repeal and re-enact region 13, of the
Act of 1872, entitled an Act to provide for the inspection of
steam boilers in the City of Baltimore.

McCosker, Cooper, C. R. Hamilton, McWilliams, Staylbr,
Stewart, of Balt. city, McAleese, Gill, Hart, Loane, Green-
field, McColgan, Hang, Groh, Berry, Freaner, Grimes,
Clark, Watkins, Fletchall, Park, Waters, Vanderford, Galt,
Brown, Maclin, Stewart, of Howard, Leonard, Bedsworth—
65.

Mr. Robinson, (the rules being suspended,) presented the
petition of Frank H. Stockett, Geo. M. Taylor, L. G. Gassa-
way and other citizens of Annapolis, against the appoint-
ment of Police Commissioners.

Which was read and referred to the Anne Arundel delega-
tion.

Mr. Sudler submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered en the Journal, that if Mr.
Sudler had been present on last Friday evening, he would
have voted in the negative on Mr, Turner's proposition to
postpone the Local Option Law until the 6th of April; also
