On motion of Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to impose a tax on manufacturers and venders
of ardent spirits, for the benefit of the Maryland Inebriate
Asylum.

On motion of Mr. McColgan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill authorizing the Appeal Tax Court of Balti-
more City to review and correct the valuation of the prop-
erty of Joseph Neal, in said city.

On motion of Mr. Merryman,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill entitled an Act to provide for amending section
7, of Article 13, of the Constitution.

Mr. Stewart, Chairman of the Committee on the Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 1.93, of the Acts
passed at January session, 1872, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
