Mr. Wier submitted the following order:
Ordered, That fifty copies of the petition of five thousand
ladies, asking to be "let alone on the Local Option Ques-
tion," presented by Mr. Etchison on yesterday, be printed
for the use of each member of this House.

On motion of Mr. Fenton,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Fenton, McWilliams and
Cooper, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to provide a sum
of money for removing to, and interring in the Confederate
Soldiers' Lot at London Park Cemetery, the remains of such
Maryland soldiers as died in the late Confederate service,
whose remains have cot otherwise been properly cared for.
On motion of Mr. Vanderford,
Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce
a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Carroll
county to adjust and settle the accounts of Jacob Holmes,
deceased, late collector of county taxes, of Carroll county,
On motion of Mr. Koons,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a bill to provide for an additional Jury Term of Court
in Frederick county.
On motion of Mr. Keech,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 12, of Ar-
ticle 28, of the Code of Public General Laws, title " County
Commissioners," and to re-enact the same with amendments,
so as to read as follows.
On motion of Mr. Keech,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate Companies to make several
turnpike roads through Baltimore county, and for other pur-
poses.
On motion of Mr. Keech,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to enlarge the power of the
Trustees of Huntingdon Chapel, in Baltimore county, in re-
lation to the holding of property—the said Trustees of
Huntingdon Chapel having been incorporated for religious
purposes, under an Act of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at December session, 1846, chapter 323, enti-
tled an Act to authorize incorporations in certain cases.
