session, 1870, chapter 328, entitled an Act to repeal the 29th
section of the 5th Article of the Code of Public Local Laws,
relating to the pay of the Criers of the Circuit Court for Cal-
vert county, and to enact a substitute therefor, and to re-enact
with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. McColgan, from the Committee on the Judiciary, (the
rules being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 46, of Article 28,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "County Com-
missioners," sub-title "Private Roads," and to re-enact said
sections with amendments.

Which was read a first time.
Also, unfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 79, of Article 16,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Chancery,"
and sub-title "Non Compos Mentis," and to amend and re-
enact the same.

And the unfavorable report was adopted.
Also, favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 13, of Article 29,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Courts," and
re-enact the same with amendments.

Also, without amendment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to legalize the bequest made
by William Thomas Syers, to St. Patrick's Church of Cum-
berland, Allegany county, Maryland.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the 29th Article
of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to "Courts and
Judgments," by adverting thereto an additional section.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and 7,
of Article 36, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Estrays and Vessels Adrift," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
