Mr. Nicodemus presented the petition of Rev. Richard
Lane and one hundred and twenty other citizens of Frederick
county, for a Local Option and Damage Law.

Which was read and referred the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Riley presented the petition of Hiram Ball and forty-
two other citizens of Harford county, for a Local Option and
Damage Law.

Also,

The petition of Elizabeth Rockhill and forty-eight other
ladies of Harford county, for a Local Option and Damage
Law.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Pruitt presented the petition of Laura A. Denson and
fifty-five other ladies of Wicomico and Worcester counties,
for a Local Option and Damage Law.

Also,

The petition of James B. Davis and seventy other citizens
of Worcester county, for a Local Option and Damage Law.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-

Mr. Clark presented the petition of Wm. Crandle, for a
pension.

Mr. Vanderford presented the petition of John Yingling,
of Carroll county, for a pension.

Which was. read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Seth presented the petition of Hon. Geo. Vickers, W.
S Walker, D. C. Blackiston, R. Nicholson, J. W. Corey
and seventy other citizens of Kent county, asking for an ad-
ditional appropriation to the Kent County Agricultural So-
ciety.

Also,

The petition of Jas. H. Anderson and twenty-one other
citizens of Talhot county, asking an appropriation of $1,500
annually to the Baltimore Eye and Ear Institute.
