The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to pay George E. Haddaway, a
Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland, in and for
Talbot county, the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars, as
fees in certain cases.

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Seth submitted the following amendment :
