No. 52. An Act to incorporate the town of Deer Park,
in Garrett county.

Mr. Williams presented the petition of John S. Willis and
eighty-two other colored voters of Denton, Caroline county,
praying the passage of a Local Option and Damage Law.

Also,

The petition of Mary Eming, Sallie L. Meloney and
other females of Hillsboro, in Caroline county, praying the
passage of a Local Option and Damage Law.

Also,

The petition of Hugh Duffy and forty other voters of
Caroline and Queen Anne's counties, praying the passage of
a Local Option and Damage Law.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Merryman presented the petition of Zachariah Alban,
Jesse Hoshall, and sixty-seven others, asking for an invest-
ment of money of Baltimore county in the bonds of the Park-
ton and Manchester Rail Road Company.

Also,

The petition of Josiah Pearce, Joseph B. Mitchell and
ninety-seven others, asking for an investment in the bonds
of the Parkton and Manchester Rail Road Company, of the
money belonging to Baltimore county.

Also,

The petition of Thomas E. Ensor and ninety-four others,
asking for an investment of the money of Baltimore county
in bonds of the Parkton and Manchester Rail Road Com-
pany.

Also,

The petition of Pleasant Hunter, and forty-four others, ask-
ing for an investment of money of Baltimore county in
the bonds of the Parkton and Manchester Rail Road Com-
pany.

Also,

The petition of John W. Ross, Jno. Bell and ninety others,
asking for investment of the money of Baltimore county in
the bonds of the -Parkton and Manchester Rail Road Com-
pany.

Also,

The petition of Joseph Walker, David Cameron and forty-
one others, asking for an investment of the money arising
