rules being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed January
session, 1870, relating to the Registration of Voters, and re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Lee, from the Committee on the Judiciary, (the rules
being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to give and declare the sanction of
the General Assembly to certain bequests in the last will and
testament of Temperance Bradshaw, late of Kent county, de-
ceased, and in the codicils to said will.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Cooper. Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules
being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to provide an Interpreter for the Or-
phans' Court for Baltimore City.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Fenton, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to regulate the salary of the Crier of
the Superior Court, Court of Common Pleas and Baltimore
City Court, of the City of Baltimore.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Brace, from the Committee on the Judiciary, (the rules
being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to regulate proceedings in certain
cases now pending in the Circuit Court for Allegany county.

Which was read a first time, and,

On motion of Mr. Brace,
Ordered to be printed.

On motion of Mr. Greenfield, (the rules being suspend-
ed,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to establish the Maryland House of Correction.

Said bill being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. Greenfield,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
bill referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
