Mr. Clark, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Montgomery county to place certain fees in the
hands of the Sheriffs of the several counties of this State and
the City of Baltimore for collection.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Leonard, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act for the better regulation of public
roads in Wicomico county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Merrill, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Town Commission-
ers of Berlin, in Worcester county, to erect a guard-house in
said town.

Mr. McCosker, Chairman of a Select Commitfee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-enact sec-
tions 954 and 955, of an Act of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the session begun in 1861, chapter 29,
entitled an Act to ratify the purchase and to provide for the
organization and government of Druid Hill and Patterson
Parks, belonging to the City of Baltimore, by incorporating
certain additional sections in Article 4, of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, and to add a section thereto.

Mr. Brown, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Trus-
tees of the Providence Methodist Protestant Church near Me-
chanicsville, in Carroll county, to convey said Church prop-
erty to the heirs of Wm. Griffee, late of said county, de
ceased.
