of the Parkton and Manchester Rail Road Company,
Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Keech submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Add to section 2 the following: Provided, That nothing
contained in this Act shall apply to, or be so construed as to
apply to, or in any manner affect any suit now pending, or
which may hereafter bs brought upon any promissory note or
writing obligatory, now in existence, which was given.as or
for a subscription to the capital stock of said Company.
The amendment was adopted.
