Mr. Vanderford, Chair man of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 9 and 10, of chap-
ter 459, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at January session, 1870, relating to registration of
voters, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of Frederick to sub-
scribe to the capital stock of the Frederick and Pennsylvania
Line Rail Road Company, and to endorse the bonds of the
said Company,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the one hundred and
seventh, one hundred and eighth, one hundred and ninth,
one hundred and tenth, one hundred and twelfth, one hun-
dred and fourteenth, one hundred, and fifteenth, one hundred
and eighteenth and one hundred and nineteenth sections of
Article seven of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State
of Maryland, relating to the City of Westminster, in Carroll
county, and to re-enact the same in an amended or different
form.

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the German Bank of
Baltimore,

Was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed for a
third'reading.

The bill entitled an Act giving the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland to a certain legacy bequeathed by the
last will and testament of Susanna Welty, to the German Bap-
tist Church, commonly called "Welty's Church," of Wash-
ington county, Maryland,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act for the protection of fish, and
further construction of fish warps or ladders in the streams
or creeks of Montgomery county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
