The House then proceeded to the consideration of the Sen-
ate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act entitled an
Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Allegany
county to build a new Jail in Allegany county, and for other
purposes, passed at January session, 1872, chapter 65,
Said bill being upon a third reading.
Pending which, (by unanimous consent,)
Mr. Brace withdrew the amendments submitted by him on
the 10th instant.
