Section 159, line 4, strike out the words "two cents," and Which was read.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend- Mr. Brace demanded the yeas and nays. The demand being sustained, The yeas and nays were called and appeared as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs.
Bird, Pruitt, Williams, NEGATIVE. Messrs.
Hines, Speaker, Hodson, Stewart, of B. city, So the amendment submitted by Mr. Seth was rejected.
