FRIDAY, February 13th, 1874.

The House met, and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr.. Hedges.

Present at the call of the roll, the following members:

Messrs, Hines, (Speaker,) Colton, Merritt, Henkle, Rob-
inson, Nutwell, Bird, Lancaster, Hawkins, Keech, Buchanan,
Matthews, Merryman, Seth, Valliant, Sudler, Coulbourn,
Duer, Gordy, Johnson, Hodson, Turner, of Cecil, Mackey,
Etchison, Latchford, Thompson, Kemp, Pruitt, Merrill,
Koons, Miller, Nicodemus, Annan, Grafton, Lee, Riley, Daw-
son, McCosker,T. H. Hamilton, Cooper, McWilliams, Staylor,
Stewart, of Balt, city, McAleese, Hart, Loane, McColgan,
Harig, Joyce, Groh, Fenton, Berry, Freaner, Grimes, Clark,
Watkins, Fletchall,Wier,Wack, Park, Brace, Waters, Galt,
Brown, Maclin, Stewart,of Howard, Leonard, Bedsworth—68.

Mr. Joyce presented the petition of George W. Hurtt and
others, against the passage of a bill to amend the Attach-
ment Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Buchanan presented the petition of Wm. B. Gambrill,
Albert H. Carroll, and John H. Brown and sixty others,
against the extension of the limits of the City of Baltimore.

Also,

The petition of A. W. Mathews, Wm. Hickman, and Wm.
B. Lytle and forty-eight others, against the extension of the
limits of the City of Baltimore.

Also, .

The petition of Robert Poole, John A. Tyler, Poole &
Hunt, and fifty others, against the extension of the limits of
the City of Baltimore.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select
Committee on the Extension of the Limits of Baltimore City.

Mr. Hart presented the petition of H. Easter and other
citizens of Baltimore county, asking for an extension of the
limits of Baltimore City.

Also,

The petition of Henry Taylor, Wm. Holmes, and thirty-
five other citizens of Waverly, asking for an Act to extend
the limits of Baltimore City.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on the Extension of the Limits of Baltimore City.
