Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture, to re-
port a bill to prevent the spread of Pleuro Pneumonia, and
other contagious diseases among cattle in this State.

On motion by Mr. Brattan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to report a bill to add a new section to Article XXIX.,
Code Public General Laws, so that juries and Courts may
find for either plaintiff or defendant, for such sum as they
may find due when set-off has been pleaded.

On motion by Mr. Steiner,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to empower the Frederick
and Pennsylvania Line Rail Road Company to lease its road."

On motion by Mr. Davis,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to report a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 155,
Article XXX. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to crimes and punishments, sub-title 'Perjury,' and to re-en-
act the same with amendments."

Mr. Suit submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the State Librarian be instructed to procure
a complete set of Martenet's Maps of the different counties of
Maryland, for the Legislature.
