tion 11 of said Act.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Keech submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Pages and Folders of this House be, and
they are hereby, instructed to bring into this House the
Documents allowed the members of the House, under its
orders, that have been or may be adopted from time to time,
as soon as the same are ready for distribution, and folded by
the Folders.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Etchison submitted the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 12th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body,
to appoint a Joint Committee of two of the Senate, and three
of the House, to visit and inspect the House of Reformation
and Instruction for Colored Children.

And name on the part of this House, Messrs. Etchison,
Berry and Stewart, of Baltimore City.

Chief Clerk.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.
Mr. Hodson submitted the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 12th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We respectfully propose, with the concurrence of your
Honorable Body, the appointment of a Joint Special Com-
mittee of nine, four on the part of the Senate, and five on
the part of the House, to visit the State Normal School, to
examine into its condition, &c., and to report the same to
the two Houses.

And name on the part of this House, Messrs. Hodson, Fen-
ton, Stake, Clark and Wier.
