The petition of John Wagaman, Samuel Funk and forty
one other citizens of Washington county, praying the pas-
sage of a law for the protection of sheep from dogs.

Also,

The petition of John Burgan and forty-four other citizens of
Washington county, praying the passage of a law for the
protection of sheep from dogs.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Agriculture.

Mr. Stake presented the petition of Sarah E. Woolford and
fifty-one other ladies of Clearspring District, Washington
county, praying the passage of a Local Option Liquor Law,
and a law making the sellers of intoxicating liquors, or the
renter of premises responsible for damages, &c.

Also,

The petition of Lewis P. Fiery and eighteen other citizens
of Clearspring District, in Washington county, for Local Op-
tion and restrictions upon the sale of intoxicating liquors.

Also,

The petition of Edward G. Miller, Rev. C. Startzman and
forty-seven other citizens of Clearspring district, Washington
county, for Local Option and restrictions upon the sale of in-
toxicating liquors.

Also,

The petition cf A. J. Browning, Joel Charles and twenty-
four other citizens of Washington county, for Local Option
and restrictions upon the sale of intoxicating liquors.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Lee presented the petition of Joshua Husband and
sixty other citizens of Harford county, asking the passage of
an Enabling Act, authorizing the County Commissioners of
Harford county, to subscribe to the capital stock of a Railroad
passing through said county.

Which was read and referred to the Harford delegation.

Mr. Berry presented the petition of John Wagaman,
Samuel Funk and others, citizens of Washington county,
praying the passage of a law for the protection of birds in
said county.
