JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 9,

session, 1872, chapter 93, entitled an Act to authorize the
County Commissioners for Frederick county to subscribe to
the capital stock of the Liberty, Johnsville and Pipe Creek,
the Liberty and New Windsor, the Frederick and Buckeys-
town, and such other Turnpike Road Companies whose roads
have been constructed since the year 1868, or are now in pro-
cess of construction.

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as

follows:

Mr. Brace, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom was
referred,

The bill entitled an Act to provide for the redivision of
Allegany county into election districts, reported the same
with proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 3, line 6, strike out all of said section after the
words "Governor shall appoint," and insert the following
in lieu thereof, "as soon as practicable after the adoption of
such proceedings, Officers of Registration for each of said
districts, and such number of Justices of the Peace for each
thereof as is now or may hereafter be designated by the local
law of said county."

Which was read.

Mr. Joyce moved a call of the House.
