The Joint Resolutions authorizing the Governor to dis-
pose of Arms, &c.

Endorsed, ''Passed by yeas and nays."

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bills,

Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

A bill entitled an Act to enable. Thomas H. Hodges to

erect a gate on the public road in Anne Arundel county.

A bill entitled a supplement to an Act passed by the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, at the January session, 1868,
chapter 455, to confer certain powers upon a corporation
therein named, to render effectual the said powers by the
correction of an error, which occurred in said Act, and also
to extend the time for the payment of the capital stock of
said Company of the title as corrected by this Act.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize an act of the Board of
County School Commissioners of Cecil county, to satisfy a
judgment against the Trustees of the Elkton Academy, in
Cecil county.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, section 135, of Article 12, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Harford County," sub-title "Sheriffs," as amend-
ed and re-enacted by chapter 340, of the Acts passed Janu-
ary session, 1872.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Agri-
cultural and Mechanical Society of Allegany county, and
West Virginia and Pennsylvania, to issue coupon bonds to
the amount of twenty thousand dollars, and to secure the
payment thereof by executing a deed of trust on all its prop-
erty.

Also,

Returned the bill entitled an Act for the relief of William
H. Moore, of Allegany county,

Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Select Commit-
tes, and Report adopted."
