Mr. Bond submitted the following order:

Ordered, That T. H. Bond be excused from attendance in
the House until Tuesday, because of urgent business.

Which was adopted.

Mr. McCosker submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Mr. Staylor be granted leave of absence
until Tuesday next.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Bedsworth,

Leave was granted to the Wicomico delegation to introduce
a bill relating to birds in said county.

On motion of Mr. Merrill,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Merrill Hines and Thomp-
son, to introduce a bill for the protection of grouse in Kent
county.

On motion of Mr. Berry,

Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to enlarge the powers of
the County Commissioners of Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Watkins,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add additional sections
to Article fifty-six of the Code of Public General Laws, enti-
tled "Licenses," sub-title "Sample Trade."

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill entitled an Act, to provide for the assess-
ment of the shares of the capital stock of National Banks
located in this State, heretofore omitted to be assessed for
State purposes, and to collect the State taxes on said shares.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed
at January session, 1872, chapter 237, entitled an Act to
provide for the collection of arrearages of State taxes due from
National Banks and Banking Associations located in this
State, and doing business therein.

On motion of Mr, Loane,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Loane, Fenton and C. R.
Hamilton, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
the Governor, Comptroller and Treasurer, to settle the
account of Charles E. Maguire, late weigher of live stock,
