Mr. Setli presented the petition of Jas. E. Haddaway and
forty other oystermen of Talbot county, against a free scrape
law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Hodson presented the petition of Jas. L. Bryan, M.
D., and eight others, for a Local Option and Damage Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr, Nicodemus presented the petition of Wm. T. Barrick,
Dr. W. H. Wagner and forty other citizens of Woodsboro'
District, of Frederick county, praying the passage of a law
submitting to the voters of the wards of Baltimore City and
Districts of the counties, whether intoxicating liquors shall
be sold in said wards and districts or not.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Hart presented the petition of Rachael Fumphrey,
widow of Ebenezer, 85 years of age, to be placed upon the
pension rolls.

Also,

The petition of Sarah Coleman, widow of Richard, 95 years
of age, to be placed upon the pension rolls.

Also,

The petition of Elizabeth Hawkins, widow of William, 69
years of age, to be placed upon the pension rolls.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

Mr. Turner, of Baltimore county, presented the petition of
Mary Oram, widow of Carson, 97 years of age, to be restored
to the pension rolls.

Also,

The petition of Sarah J. Cunningham, widow of George,
65 years of age, to be restored to the pension rolls.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

Mr. Merryman presented the petition of twelve tax-payers
of Lutherville, Baltimore county, praying for a repeal of the
charter.

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county
delegation.
