Mr. Hodson presented the petition of citizens of Dorchester
county in favor of a Local Option Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Berry presented the petition of Jas. S. Bronics and
other citizens of Washington county, praying the passage of
a law levying a tax on dogs for the protection of sheep in
said county.

Which was read and referred to the Washington county
delegation.

Mr. Vanderford presented the petition of two hundred and
fifty-four citizens of Garroll county, praying for the pas-
sage of a law authorizing the County Commissioners of Car-
roll county to subscribe for thirty thousand dollars worth of
stock in the Parkton and Manchester Rail Road.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.

Mr. Merryman presented the petition of Thos. J. Green for
a pension.

hundred and ninety-eight males of Baltimore City, in favor
of a Local Option and Damage Law.

A. Anderson and forty-five others of District No. 9, Carroll
county, praying the passage of a Local Option Law.
