of chapter 402, of the Acts of1867, entitled an Aei to en-
large and confirm the powers and authority of St. Mary's
Industrial School for Boys, of the City of Baltimore, incor-
porated under the general provisions of the twenty-sixth '
Article of the Code of Public General Laws, and to re-enact
the same with amendments, and to add an additional section
thereto, to stand as section 6 of said Act.

On motion of Mr. Fletchall,

Leave was granted to the Montgomery delegation to re-
port a hill for the protection of fish in the rivers, creeks and
branches, in Montgomery county.

Mr. Nutwell, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate Washington Grove
Camp-Meeting Association, of the District of Columbia and
Maryland.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the West Friendship
and Linden Turnpike Companies.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act passed at the
January session, 1870, chapter 385, entitled an Act to in-
corporate the District of Columbia, Upper Marlboro' and
Hill's Landing Turnpike Company, and to extend the time
for the completion of said turnpike.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Stewart, of Baltimore City, Charman of a Select
Committee, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 287, of the Local
Laws, passed January session, 1870, and to repeal sections
810, 811 and 816, of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City, sub-title "Police," and to re-enact
the following in lieu thereof,

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Keech, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 105, 106, 107, of
Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore
