Mr. Leonard presented the petition of Robert Walter and
forty-three other citizens of Wicomico county, in relation to
catching oysters in said county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Stewart, of Howard, presented the petition of Geo.
Whaler. Theodore Morrison, and sixty-three other residents
of Laurel, against the proposed amendment to the act of in-
corporation dividing the town into wards, or providing, that
the Commissioners shall bo selected from certain sections of
said town, and against any change as to election of Commis-
sioners,

Which was read and referred to the Prince George's delega-
tion.

Mr. Harig presented the petition of steam users of the City
of Baltimore, against repeal of section 15, of Act of 1872,
chapter 153, being Steam Boiler Act.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inspec-
tions.

Mr. Keech presented the petition of Edward Steifal and
forty-seven other citizens of Baltimore county, living near
that city, protesting against any legislation looking to the
extension of the limits of Baltimore City, by taking any part
of Baltimore county.

Which was read and referred to, the Select Committee on
that subject,

Mr. Buchanan presented the petition of Horace Abbott,
Jno. S. Gillman, Hy. Myers and twenty-three other citizens
of Baltimore county, against the extension of the limits of
the City of Baltimore.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.

Mr. Buchanan also presented a similar petition from J.
W. Smith, Thos. Fort, Dr. W. R. Carroll and twenty-four
other citizens of Baltimore county, against the extension of
the limits of the City of Baltimore.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.

Mr. Keech presented the petition of Philip D. Burgan
and forty-four other citizens of Baltimore county, living near
Baltimore City, protesting against any legislation looking
to the extension of the limits of Baltimore City, by taking
any part of Baltimore county.
