The bill entitled an Act to confirm and approve an Act
passed at January session, 1872, chapter 16, entitled an Act
to authorize and empower the County Commissioner of Car-
roll county to subscribe to the capital stock of the Turnpike
Company in Carroll county.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act supplementary to the Act to in-
corporate the Hannah More Academy of Baltimore county,
passed at December session, 1839, chapter 189.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to vest certain property therein
mentioned in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Kent
county.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Carroll county, in their discretion, to pay annually
a sum of money, not to exceed three hundred dollars, to de-
fray the expenses of Georgiana Young, a lunatic, during the
time of her lunacy.

Mr. Galt, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported with-
out amendment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize Hasha-
biah Haines, of Carroll county, to settle his accounts as
guardian to William L. Haines, in the Orphans' Court of
Baltimore City, and to deliver over the estate to his said
ward.

Said bill was then read a eecond time.

Mr. Gordy, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to prevent trespassing with gun or
dog in Dorchester county, and to prescribe penalties there-
for.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Hodson Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to give an additional Justice of the
Peace to the 10th election district of Dorchester county.

Which was read a first time.
