to the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation at Mount Zion, in
Frederick county, State of Maryland,
Reported the same with proposed Amendments,
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend title to bill by striking out the present title of said
bill, and inserting in lieu thereof the following : "A bill en-
titled an Act to give and declare the sanction and consent of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of five
hundred dollars, contained in the last will and testament of
Henry Bohr, late of Frederick county, Maryland, deceased,
to the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation at Mount Zion, in
Frederick county, State of Maryland."
Amend body of bill by striking out all of said bill after the
words "that the," in the second line of the first section, and
inserting in lieu thereof the following: "Sanction and consent
of the General Assembly of Maryland he, and the same is
hereby, given and declared to the bequest of five hundred dol-
lars, contained in the last will and testament of Henry Eohr,
late of Frederick county, deceased, to the Evangelical Lu-
theran Congregation at Mount Zion, in Frederick county, in
the State of Maryland."
The amendments were severally read and adopted, and
The bill as amended read a second time.
The bill entitled an Act to alter and amend the charter of
the Hampshire and Baltimore Coal Company, incorporated
by an Act entitled cm Act to recognize the Hampshire and
Baltimore Coal Companies, a corporation created by and
existing under the laws of the State of West Virginia, as a
corporation in the State of Maryland, and to authorize it to
exercise the powers and privileges of a corporation within the
State of Maryland, for mining and other purposes, passed at
January session, 1864, chapter 295, by repealing the second
section thereof, and amending the same, and re-enacting it as
amended,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bill,
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to appoint
an assistant to the Secretary of State.
