Mr. Clark presented the petition of W. P. Moore, praying
the General Assembly to place his name on the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Maclin presented the petition of Ann Hobbs to replace
ker name on the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.

Mr. Freaner presented the petition of H. H. Power, of
Frederick county, to be refunded the amount of an ordinary
license doubly paid into the Treasury for the year 1873.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Merryman presented the petition of steam users of the
City of Baltimore, against the repeal of section 15 of Act of
1872, chapter 153.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inspec-
tion s.

Mr. Fletchall presented the petition of Wm. B. Greed,
asking compensation for publishing list of delegates in the
"Montgomery County Advocate."

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Kemp presented the petition of sundry citizens of Kent
and Queen Anne's counties, to prohibit fish pots at the head
of Chester River.

Which was read and referred to the Queen Anne's and
Kent delegations.

Mr. Fletchall presented the petition of Nimrod Davis,
Willie Griffith and Samuel Riggs, of R., and forty-three other
citizens of Montgomery county, asking for a law for the pro-
tection of fish in the rivers and creeks and branches in said
county.

Which was read and referred to the Montgomery delega-
tion.

Mr. Lee presented the petition of Cheyney Hoskins and
twenty-eight other citizens of Harford county, asking the
passage of a law taxing dogs in Harford county.

Which was read and referred to the Harford delegation.

Mr. Lee presented the petition of Dillwyn Parker and fifty
other citizens of Harford county, asking for the passage of an
Enabling Act authorizing the County Commissioners of Har-
ford county to subscribe to the capital stock of a railroad
passing through said county.
