missioners of Prince George's county, with copy of bill pre-
sented by Georgo C. Merrick, Esq., State's Attorney for said
county for the year 1872.

The Report of Jas. A.Fulton, Esq., the Clerk of the Commis-
sioners for Harford county, with copy of bill presented by
J. Thomas C. Hopkins, Esq., State's Attorney for said county,
for the year 1872.

The Report of George T. Leiter, Esq., Clerk to the Com-
missioners for Washington county, with copy of bill, presented
by John C. Zeller, Esq., State's Attorney for said county for

1872.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Mr. McColgan, Chairman of the Committee on the Library,
presented the Report of the Library Committee of Maryland
State Library, to the General Assembly.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Library.

Mr. Merritt presented the petition of J. A. Pearce, Bich-
ard Hynson, and George Vickers and others, asking for the
payment of $50 to A. B. Wheatly, late Sheriff of Kent
county, for services to the State.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Seth presented the petition of R. H. T. Council, and
nine hundred and ninety other citizens of the town of Easton,
Talbot county, against the extension of the limits of said
town.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Seth,Valliant and
Thompson.

Mr. Lancaster presented the petition of J. B. Perry and
and two hundred other citizens of Charles county, in rela-
tion to the protection of oysters in the adjacent waters of said
county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries...

Mr. Maclin presented the petition of Asmith Elms, for a
pension.
