Mr. Seth submitted the following order:

Ordered, That each Reporter of this House be furnished with
two copies of the printed bills, journals and other documents
at the same time and in the same manner as furnished to
members of the House.

Mr. Johnson submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the thanks of this House be, and they are
hereby, tendered to Mr. William Hitchcock for his prompt
and efficient aid in repairing the engine on the Annapolis
and Elk Eidge Railroad, so as to enable the train to proceed
to Annapolis to-day.

Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Groh,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 20, of Art.
56, of the Code of Public General Laws, and re-enact the
same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Johnson,

Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to intro-
duce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Dor-
chester county to subscribe to the capital stock of the Cam-
bridge and Chesapeake Railroad Company,

On motion of Mr. Greenfield,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore City delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore City to issue the bonds of the City
of Baltimore to an amount not exceeding the sum of four mil-
lion dollars, to provide means for introducing the waters of
the Gunpowder River.

On motion of Mr. Gill,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Manufactures to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to regulate labor in estab-
lishments for packing fruits, oysters and vegetables.

On motion of Mr. West,

Leave was granted to the Garrett delegation to introduce
a bill fixing the compensation of the Sheriff of Garrett county
