ed a majority of the whole number of votes cast by the House
of Delegates.

Mr. Cooper (the rules being suspended) submitted the fol-
lowing

REPORT...

ANNAPOLIS, January 20, 1874.

The Committee on Organization would respectfully ask
that they be authorized to instruct the Anne Arundel dele-
gation to invite the Rev. Messrs. Southgate, Henderson,
Hedges and Kinzer to officiate as Chaplains of this House.

The Secretary of the Senate delirered the following mes-
