Mr. Foster presented the petition of Wm. H. Collins, to
be paid for services rendered in Tobacco Warehouse.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Gill presented the petition of Thomas Swann and
others, for an appropriation to support six beds for the bene-
fit of State patients afflicted with diseases of the eye and
ear.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means,

Mr. Foster presented the petition of Ellinore Robinson, to
be restored to the pension rolls of the State.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Stewart presented the petition of sundry citizens of
Howard, Baltimore and Carroll counties, praying the pas-
sage of a law for the protection of fish in the Patapsco River,
above tidewater.

Which was read and referred to a Select Committee, con-
sisting of Messrs. Stewart, of Howard, Matthews and Brown.

Mr. Stewart presented the petition of H. M. Tiralla, ask-
ing that a fine imposed on the schooner Hester Ann, paid by
him, be returned to him.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Graf'ton presented the petition of Sarah Morris, Eliza-
beth Sims and Margaret Wright and Vincent Hudson, for a
pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Maclin presented the petitions of M. Flencham, H.
Reed, Mary A. Hissey, Mary A. Gaither, E. Warfield, C.
Buley, Hazel Hobbs, M, A. Disney, J. Duvaull, N. Harding,
M. Helms, M. Baldeiston, A. Carroll and R. Denny.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

Mr. Greenfield presented the memorial of J. F. Hancock,
A. W. Duke, L. Herseman, W. N. Jenning, Lewis Dohme,
W. W. Donovin, a Committee of the Maryland College of
Pharmacy, asking an appropriation for a building for school
purposes.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
