1132 EXECUTIVE PROCEEDINGS

TUESDAY, March 3, 1874.

The following communication which had been received
from His Excellency, Governor Whyte, by the hands of
Charles J. Pennington, Esq., Assistant Secretary of State,
were read:

STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, March 3, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I have the honor to nominate John A. Inglis, of Baltimore
city, Judge of the Orphans' Court for Baltimore city, for the
residue of the term of Bohrar D. Daniels, deceased.

WM. PINKNEY WHYTE.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment agreeably to the nomination.

STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, March 2, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I have the honor to nominate Samuel W. Neavitt, Justice

of the Peace for the 2nd district of Talbot county, vice Geo.
E. Haddaway, resigned, and also for the place vacant on the
Civil List for Talbot county, by the withdrawal of George
E. Haddaway.

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
