and other Turnpike Road Companies, whose roads have been
constructed since the year 1868, or are now in process of con-

of indigent patients in the Baltimore Eye and Ear Institute

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 1 of an Act
passed January Session, 1872, chapter 320," entitled "An
Act for the protection of black bass and all other fish in the
Monocacy River and its tributaries, within the limits of Fred-
erick county, and to re-enact said section 1 with amend-
ments,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to Art-
icle XXX. of the Code of Public General Laws of the State
of Maryland, to succeed section 144, so as to prevent the pub-
lic execution of the death penalty,"

tion of fish, and to encourage the breeding and culture of fish

County Commissioners for Harford county to subscribe to the
capital stock of Turnpike Companies in Harford county,"

Being on second reading,

Mr. Walsh submitted the following amendment:
