I nominate John A. Sedgwick, Chief Judge of the Or-
phans' Court for Calvert county, vice R. H. T. Norfolk, de-
clined the appointment; Richard H. T. Norfolk, Judge of
the Orphans' Court for Calvert county, vice John A. Sedg-
wick, resigned and appointed Chief Judge.

pointments agreeably to the nominations.

vice John E. Roby, resigned.

July 26.--Walter W. Dorsey, Justice of the Peace 1st
district, vice George P. Ross, failed to qualify.

1873.

May 6.—Richard T. Richardson, Justice of the Peace 2nd
district, vice Nathan Dare, Jr., removed from
county.

May 27.—John A. Cox, Coroner to fill vacancy, no nomina-
tion having been made.

Sept. 15.—James L. Hutchins, Justice of the Peace 2nd dis-
trict, vice Henry T. Talbott, deceased.
