tict, vice Tubman F. Bonneville, resigned.

April 8.—Christopher H. Hyland, Justice of the Peace 2nd
district, vice Lazarus M. Hall, deceased.

Dec. 16.—James W. Warwick, Justice of the Peace 1st dis-
trict, vice Isaac Gibbons, resigned.

On motion by Mr. Brattan,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments agreeably to the nominations.

Mr. Denson, from the Committee on Executive Nomina-
tions, to which had been referred the nominations for Fred-
erick county, reported the Committee were of opinion that
said nominations ought to be confirmed.

Whereupon the Senate advised and consented to said ap-
pointments, agreeably to the nominations of the 13th inst.

Mr. Denson, from the Committee on Executive Nomina-
tions, to which had been referred the appointment of State
officers made during the recess of the Legislature, reported
the Committee were of opinion that said nominations ought
to be confirmed.

Whereupon the Senate advised and consented to said ap-
pointments agreeably to the nominations of the 13th inst.

On motion by Mr. Blake,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative busi-
ness.
