of her said husband, and as if the justices, of the peace
before whom the same was acknowledged, had certified
that the said deed was acknowledged before them by the
said Elizabeth W. Duvall, separate and apart from, and
out of the hearing of her said husband; and that she had
declared that she made such acknowledgment freely and
voluntarily.

An act to change and alter the name of Marion Hollyday,
of Washington County, to that of Nancy Ringgold Hol-
lyday.

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the name of Marion Hollyday, infant daughter of
William Hollyday and Nancy Ringgold Hollyday, (lately
deceased,) his wife, of Washington county, be, and hereby
is changed and altered to that of Nancy Ringgold Holly-
day; and it shall and may be lawful for the said Marion, at
all times hereafter, to be called and known by, and hold
and use the name of Nancy Ringgold Hollyday.

A Supplement to an act, entitled, an act to incorporate the
Baltimore and Port Deposits Rail Road Company.
|
Time extended
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the time limited in the twenty-fourth sec-
tion of the act, entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore
and Port Deposite Rail Road Company, for the commence-
ment of the actual construction of the said Rail Road, be
and is hereby extended to twelve months from the passage
of this act.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That for the purpose of con-
necting the Baltimore and Port Deposite Rail Road, with
the Rail Road from Baltimore to Washington, the Balti-
more and Port Deposite Rail Road company may com-
mence their Rail Road on Wilke street, at or near its junc-
tion with President street, in the city of Baltimore, and
