MORTGAGES, Act relating to,

in case of the death of the mortgagee,

the receipts of the executors, &c. of,

shall have the same force and effect to

release the properly, as such receipts

from the original mortgagee would have

in case of conveyances of lands or

chattels, &c. by way of, in the city of

Baltimore, and where in said convey-

ance the mortgagor declares his assent

to a decree, &c. the court may upon ap-

plication, &c. forthwith decree a sale at

any of the periods limited in said con-

veyance, &c. and appoint a trustee, &c.

a statement on oath of the balance due

on said mortgage, authorised to sell

said property or any part thereof, and
