Passed Mar. 3, 1834
|
Resolution relative to the several Sinking Funds of the
State.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be, and he is hereby
directed to consolidate the several Sinking Funds of the
state, under the denomination of the Sinking Fond, and that
he carry to its credit and invest at his discretion for its ac-
cumulation all future receipts on account of either of the
said funds, and also any surplus excess of twelve thousand
dollars, he may hereafter find to be in the Treasury at the
end of any fiscal year.

Resolution in favor of Mary Coe.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be, and he is hereby
authorised and required to pay to Mary Coe, widow of
Wiliam Coe, or to her order during life, in quarter yearly
payments, a sum of money equal to the half pay of a Mat-
ross, in consideration of the services rendered by her hus-
band during the revolutionary war.

Resolution in favor of Nancy Jones.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be, and he is hereby
authorised and required to pay to Nancy Jones, of Wor-
cester county, or to her order during life, in quaiter yearly
payments, a sum of money equal to the half pay of a Pri-
vate, in consideration of the services rendered by her hus-
band during the revolutionary war.
