An act to alter and change the name of Sophia Ann Weare
of Washington county, to the name of Sophia Elizabeth
Shaw.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, the name of Sophia
Ann Weare, be and the same is hereby altered and chang-
ed to that of Sophia Elizabeth Shaw, and it shall and may
be lawful for the said Sophia Ann Weare, at all times here-
after, to be called and known by, to hold and use the name
of Sophia Elizabeth Shaw, and by that name to purchase,
hold, sell, contract, convey or devise, and to sue and be
sued in any court of law or equity.

An aci to divorce Catharine Boss, of the city of Baltimore,
from her husband Samuel S. Boss.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passsage of this act, the said Cath-
arine Boss, be, and she is hereby divorced from bed, board
and mutual cohabitation with her husband Samuel S. Boss.

An act to provide for building of a, Bridge over Yohogany
River, in Allegany county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Daniel Raymond, Samuel Coddington,
Lawrence Smith. Joseph France, and Daniel Smouse, or a
majority of them, be, and they are hereby appointed com-
missioners to contract with some person or persons to build
a bridge over the Yohogany river, in Allegany county, at or
near Gabriel Friends, which bridge shall be built of good
and subsiantial materials with stone abutments on each
shore, and stone piers wherever necessary across the river,
and it is hereby required of said commissioners to give
