Sec: 4. And be it enacted, That the levy court of Dor-
chester county be and they are hereby authorised and re-
quired, to levy upon the taxable inhabitants of said county
the amount of expenses incurred under this law, and the
same to pay over to the person or persons entitled there-
to.

CHAPTER 25.
An act to amend an act, passed at December session, eigh-
teen hundred and thirty-two.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the corporation created by chapter fifty two, of eighteen
hundred and fifteen, revived and amended by chapter two
hundred and eleven, of eighteen bundled and thirty-two,
under the style of the Steam Company of Maryland, shall
henceforward, be known and called as the Phoenix Steam
Company of Maryland, and all the liabilities, lights, privi-
leges and immunities enjoined, or enjoyed, in virtue of the
said acts shall devolve upon the said company under the
style conferred by this act.

CHAPTER 26.
An act to provide for the election of a Bridge over Catoctin
Creek, on the Old Hagerstown Road, in Frederick county.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the judges of the Levy court of Frederick county, are
hereby authorised and required to cause to be erected over
Catoctin creek, on the old road, leading from Middletown
in Frederick county, to Hagerstown, in Washington coun-
ty, where said road crosses said creek, a substantial stone
or a wooden and stone bridge, upon such plan, terms and
