LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 250

mentioned in the said act are hereby confirmed to the said
corporation for and on behalf of the German Reformed
and Lutherean Church of Baltimore county.

Vacaney

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That in the event of the death
or resignation of either of the members of the said corpo-
ration, and before the election of a successor, agreeably to
the rules and regulations of the congregations mentioned
in the said act, the survivor or survivors, shall have and ex-
ercise all the rights, property, powers and privileges which
are hereby confirmed to the said Elders and their succes-
sors.

Perpetuity

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That if at any time hereaf-
ter, either by the death or resignation of the present Elders
or their successors, there should be no Elders in being, the
corporation shall not for that reason be deemed to be dis-
solved, but that all the rights, property, powers and privi-
leges which are hereby confirmed, shall enure to the suc-
cessors, who may at any time thereafter be elected agree-
bly to the rules of the congregations mentioned in the said
act.

CHAPTER 250.

An act to Divorce Mary Ann Farrell, from her husband
James 17. Farrell.

Divorce

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That Mary Ann Farrell, be, and she is hereby di-
vorced from bed, board and mutual cohabitation with her
husband James U. Parrell.

Liability annulled

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said James U. Far-
rell, shall not be liable for any debt to be hereafter contrac-
ted by the said Mary Ann Farrell, nor be entitled to any
property which she may hereafter acquire.

Name

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the name of said Mary
Ann Parrell, be, and the same is hereby changed to her
maiden naaie of Mary Ann Ennis.

Feme sole

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the said Mary Ann
Farrell, be from the passage of this act entitled to all the
rights and privileges of a feme sole, except the right of
marrying again during the life time of the said James U.
Farrel.
