more, from his wife, Sarah Collins.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That James W. Collins, of the city of Baltimore, is
hereby divorced from his wife Sarah Collins, a vinculo mat"
rimonii.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to authorise the
trustees of the poor, of Cecil county, to dispose of certain
lands therein mentioned, andto purchase othqr lands, &c.
chap, sixty nine, December session, eighteen hundred and
twenty three.

Repeal as to appli-
cation
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That so much of the act to which this is a supplement, as
requires the trustees of the poor of Cecil county, or a ma-
jority of them, to apply the proceeds arising from the sale
of certain lands therein mentioned, to the purchase of such
other land as they shall think fit; be and {he same is here-
by repealed; Provided, that nothing herein contained shall
be construed to impair or effect any other powers confer-
ed by said act upon the said trustees.

the Indigent Deaf and Dumb of this state.

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That if any deaf and dumb person, who may
hereafter be selected by the governor of this state, to be
sent to the Pennsylvania Institution, to be educated at the
charge of the state, shall not be sent to, and have entered
said institution as a pupil, within twelve months after ha-
ving been so selected, such deaf and dumb person shall
